Important!
If you have accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior then it is not as urgent you read this,
but if you have not and do not know Christ, please read , before it's too late!
Would you let yourself be pimped? Well I assume most of you would say, NO WAY. If you are unaware of what pimped means, it is when you let someone use your body and mind to make a profit for themselves. In truth most of you allow yourselves to be pimped out. Consider Satan/evil as your pimp. Anyone who lives a life of sin and/or worships things of this world is Satan's streetwalker. I knew pimps in my past life and one thing they do to keep control is to give you the illusion that you are in control. They make you feel proud and give you a false sense of self-esteem. When in reality they are just manipulating your mind in order to reap a better profit for themselves. They wine and dine you to make you comfortable and even buy you things to make you distracted from the truth. Well I know from experience, when you are sinning, most of the time you think you are in control of it and you are in control of your life. That is exactly what Satan the pimp wants you to believe. All he has to do is whisper to the thoughts in the back of your head and help you to justify what you are doing. He does not want you to know he is in control of all your actions because then you might rebel and do the right thing and turn to the Lord. He helps you make excuses for things and his favorite word is "BUT" for example; I would start learning about God, BUT, I don't have the time because of work, kids, etc. It may seem like a simple and justifiable excuse but that is exactly what Satan wants you to believe. Same with little white lies. He will convince you a little lie here and there to benefit you or your family is not wrong. One little white lie turns into more white lies and then blatant dishonesty. These are all Satan's tools to keep you in his control. The profit he reaps is sin, depression, hate, anger, resentment, lies, greed, vanity, envy, addiction and the list goes on and on. The really bad news is that the penalty for sin is death and eternal judgment in a fiery hell. All men die once and then have to be judged by God. If you are a slave to sin when that happens you are going to spend eternity in judgement (it's going to be burning hot).
“For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin.”
Romans 7:14
“But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind,
and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.”
Romans 7:23
“Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.”
John 8:34
“For there is not a just man on earth who does good And does not sin.”
Ecclesiastes 7:20
"For all of us have become like one who is unclean,
and all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment;
And all of us wither like a leaf,
And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away."
Isaiah 64:6
"For the wages of sin is death"
Romans 6:23
So I ask you today. Is Satan turning a profit from you walking the streets for him? Is he leading you to eternal judgment in hell?
Your only hope for freedom and eternal life in Heaven, is in Jesus Christ.
He gave His life so you could be set free from sin.
Don’t worry:
If you accept Christ and that the price has already been paid for your sin,you can be forgiven. But remember, if you don't you will be judged by your works which are filthy rags.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that ot of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
Ephesians 2:8,9
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
Romans 3:23
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 6:23
“Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”
John 8:36
“...the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”
I John 1:7
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16
"But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,"
Romans 4:5
There is a way to escape captivity and eternal judgment in hell. That is to believe in Jesus Christ. To believe involves three things.
1. You must know you are a slave to sin and slavery to sin brings death and that through Jesus Christ is the only way to be set free.
2. You must believe in your heart that these things are true
3. You have to rely on Jesus Christ, not yourself, to be freed.
You have to put all your trust in Him to wipe away your sins.
You have to be dependent on Jesus Christ to save you from sin and death.
Are You Ready to be set free and have eternal life in Heaven?
If you are ready to be free from captivity, pray this prayer from your heart.
"God I recognize that I have been in captivity to sin. I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross at Calvary, and I long to receive the forgiveness You have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be in captivity to sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in Jesus' precious and holy name. Amen"
If you prayed this prayer from your heart and believe what you said you have been set
free from captivity by God's saving grace and saved from eternal judgment.
